Behaviour Guidance

Behaviour guidance in our program focuses on social and emotional growth through respectful relationships, clear expectations, and consistent support. Our goal is to help children build empathy, cooperation, communication, and problem-solving skills in a safe environment.

Clear Expectations

Children thrive with structure and consistency. Caregivers explain expectations before activities and provide clear boundaries so children can participate confidently and safely.

Positive Guidance

When challenges arise, we guide rather than punish. Caregivers redirect behaviour, explain safety concerns, and encourage better choices to help children learn while maintaining confidence.

Learning Through Modelling

Caregivers model kindness, respectful communication, and calm conflict resolution. Through daily example, children strengthen empathy, emotional awareness, and cooperation.

Encouragement & Problem-Solving

Positive behaviour is reinforced with praise and encouragement. During conflicts, children are supported to express feelings, listen to others, and work together on respectful solutions.

Partnering With Families

We maintain open communication with families about expectations, strategies, and concerns. Consistency between home and daycare helps children grow and succeed.
